Sample Contract

This contract is a SAMPLE ONLY and is subject to change.

1.  Tysarh Papillons warrants that puppy/dog is in good health and has been examined by a veterinarian. This puppy/dog has been immunized according to the attached health records.

2. Tysarh Papillons knows of no genetic or birth defects in this puppy/dog. We will guarantee this puppy from genetic and/or birth defects for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have this puppy/dog seen by his or her own veterinarian and report any found genetic/birth defects to the seller. It is understood that the seller’s veterinarian will confirm any such diagnosis.

In the unlikely event a genetic or birth defect is found, the buyer may elect one of the following options:

* Return the puppy/dog to Tysarh Papillons for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

* Keep the puppy/dog in which case no refund shall be issued.

3. This puppy is from a litter which has been registered with the American Kennel Club. Tysarh Papillons acknowledges that this puppy is being sold with an AKC Limited Registration. It is the buyer’s responsibility to file the puppies’ papers with the AKC and pay the appropriate fees to have a fully registered dog.

4. Although Tysarh Papillons breeds with the intention of meeting or exceeding the breed standard, the buyer acknowledges that Tysarh Papillons can not guarantee the size, color or temperament of the dog when fully grown.

5. The buyer confirms that he/she is not acting as an agent for a broker or pet store in the purchase of this dog. Additionally, the buyer confirms that this dog is being purchased as a family companion animal and will not be exclusively kenneled or chained outdoors.

6. If for ANY REASON the buyer is unable to keep the dog, the buyer agrees to return the dog to Tysarh Papillons who will in-turn keep the dog or foster the dog until an acceptable permanent home is found. In such case, Tysarh Papillons will not issue any refund to the buyer. Additionally, Tysarh Papillons WILL NOT resell the dog.

7. The buyer agrees to adequately care for this puppy/dog by providing comfortable shelter, quality nutrition, and water at all times.
